This course is designed for everyone: Those who have never driven on
loose surfaces before, those who’d love to learn the secrets of rally
driving or the hardcore rally fan that’s decided it’s time to be in the
driver’s seat! A lot of what you’ll learn will translate into everyday
driving as well.
An experienced instructor will sit beside participants in the car at
all times and provide expert tuition every step of the way.
Course format
You'll meet us in the morning in our HQ for a hot cup of tea or coffee,
before we begin the theory of Rally Driving.
Our interactive theory session will take approximately 30 minutes,
during which time, we’ll arm you with the safety, the how and the why
of Rally Driving.
Once you’ve gained the insight, it’s straight to a Subaru WRX Rally car
where we’ll strap you in behind the wheel to put it all into practice.
You'll start out on some basic courses in an open, level area to find
your feet in one of our 4WD Turbo monsters. Within a short time you’ll
be sliding the car around, experiencing the thrills of controlled
sideways driving.
As the morning progresses, we’ll increase the difficulty and length of
the courses to match your skills.
We'll break for a sumptuous lunch around midday. During lunch, we’ll
discuss what we learnt in the morning session and how those skills will
apply during the afternoon.
After lunch it’s back into the car for more rally driving. Now you’ll
be putting your new found skills to good use. You’ll complete several
laps of our purpose built special stages.
Later in the afternoon, we’ll swap seats with you. This time you’ll be
in the navigator’s seat as we take you for a heart stopping sideways
hot lap around our special stages.
Participant numbers are limited to just five for each full day Rally
Driving course. Why? Simply put, we want to foster as much one on one
training as time will allow. By keeping our numbers low, we can ensure
that you get the focus and driving time you deserve. We can take
drivers from as young as 14 years old.
Cost: $645.00 (The best value in Australia) for the full day course
including lunch and drinks. Family and friends are also welcome to
attend.
