Experience The Thrills of Rally Driving

Our History

Our sport is our passion. The thrill, the fun, it’s been in our blood for a long time.

The story starts back in 2006 when we started discussing forming a rally school. We’d been involved in Motorsports since we were just 12 years old had been rallying for a long time too. We had already competed in our own cars at every level from club events to international rallies and had much success along the way. 2006 would be our time to launch a school where we could pass on our years of experience and skill to others.

From an idea, Rally Action Driver Training was born. Based in Perth, Western Australia and starting with two basic cars (and a lot of help from friends and family), the first school was run. Since then, we haven’t looked back. The business has grown, we’ve built more cars and we’re happy to have great feed back from all of our participants. Many come back more than once to do our schools.

On top of our Rally Schools, we also prepare/build rally cars and manage a highly successful rally team. Over the last 6 years, our list of trophies has been impressive. We’ve won multiple times at all levels within the WA State Rally Championship, with multiple cars and drivers and keep on going. Arguably RADT has been the most succesful rally team in WA for the last 5 years, winning various championship and event trophies every year.

At the end of the 1st decade of the 21st century, we took a slight change of direction with RADT. After selling our 2WD school cars that had been so popular to keen rally competitors, we decided to make RADT a complete 4WD Turbo experience! Now when you come for a ride or a drive with RADT, you’ll be in one of our 4WD Turbo Subaru WRX’s. We feel the change further enhances the Rally Experience for you.

During early 2010 we also purchased our own purpose designed facility, located in Dowerin WA (approx 1.5 hours from the Perth metro area). Our own facility allowed us to expand our Rally Experience calendar and introduce club level competition and Rally Sprints during 2010 and 2011.

Keep an eye on our Home and Motorsport pages for further developments and articles on RADT and the WA State Rally Championship.
