Frequently Asked Questions

Do I get to drive, or just sit in the passenger seat?

For our Rally Thrills, Intense Half Day and Ultimate Full Day rally driving experiences, you get behind the wheel driving the cars and we sit alongside coaching you. The grand finale is a hot lap in the co-driver's seat when we take you for a spin.

Do I need a manual driver's license?

No you don't. You must be able to competently drive a manual car however you don't even need a driver's license at all! We do have a minimum age, check out our T&C's for more info.

Where are you located?

Our Venue is in Dowerin, approx 1.5 hours Northeast of Perth in picturesque WA Wheatbelt. Directions are sent to participants with the paperwork for each Rally Experience approx 5 days before their booking.

How many driving?

We take just 5 drivers per car. That means that at any Rally Driving Experience, only 5 people will take turns driving in each car throughout the session. Usually we run two or more cars at once and swap drivers in and out of the cars. The low numbers means more seat time for participants and less waiting between drives.

Can friends and family attend?

Absolutely! We have sheltered, under cover viewing areas set up so friends and family can watch, take photos or video. After watching the participants have a ball in the cars, often friends and family want to have a hot lap themselves.

Is there a height and weight limit?

Yes, we have set a height restriction of 193cm and a weight restriction of 130kg. We have had people who are are taller or heavier so if you're not sure, please contact us and we'll be happy to assist. You can check out our T&C's here

Do I drive on one track only?

We use several different dirt tracks.  They are the longest Rally driving experience tracks in Perth (and probably Australia). The roads vary in length and difficulty and our rally stage is nearly 3km long. For those who choose the Ultimate Full Day, you drive on another two tracks that are not part of our other experiences.

How do I book?

Booking is easy. You can either pick a session date from the calendar or select a Voucher. Confirmations and/or vouchers are emailed directly to the purchaser. You can nominate to email directly to the lucky recipient too.  Vouchers make awesome gifts and are valid for 12 months.

When do you run Rally Driving Experiences?

Generally we run twice a month on weekends. You can find the dates listed in the booking calendar for each Rally Experience. Week days are usually reserved for Corporate Events and Group Bookings. Our calendar is set based on our own Rally Championship schedule and the weather. We operate from early March to mid December. During the hot summer months DFES and the shire often impose total vehicle movement bans which may prevent us from running. Any vouchers that expire during Jan/Feb are automatically extended.
